Our Girls Get Togethers are events we run at F.I.R.S.T. robotics competitions, where we invite local female engineers and girls in robotics to have a fun time conversing, networking, and giving advice!
Magazine for girls, by girls, geared to sustain that interest in STEM
Our magazine, STEM Savvy, is built to engage girls in a fun, attractive way. In every seasonal issue you can find interviews from females in the field, at-home science activities, tool introductions, and more! The best part about our magazine? It's free!
The event we host for Girls Scouts, Girls Gear Up, is aimed at troops who haven't yet earned their robotics merit badge (a badge our own mentor, Kara Boyer, helped put in motion). We have them over at our facility in Pearland, Texas, and help them Gear Up with us for free!
Application aimed to speak about STEM to the under-served
Our Princesses with Power Tools event is geared towards girls aged 4-8 and is designed to introduce using power tools as something natural and non-intimidating. The event fosters an excitement for STEM early in these girl's lives, and they are able to learn more about robotics.
